Three Online Resources
In the era of the prosperity of information technologies, we have a sufficient number of online resources that are impossible to count. They facilitate the process of learning languages and help us to operate with data/information. Here are 3 of my favorite online resources:
Quizlet is a free app that reminds me of my school years. However, electronic flashcards are more convenient than paper ones. I flavor it not only for a user-friendly interface but also for the variety of opportunities to learn new vocabulary in English and other languages.
Forvo.com is a website that I have known for a long but only last year I truly appreciated it. It offers an abundance of sound clips with the pronunciation of different words in many languages. The website encompasses all the words that cannot be encountered in usual dictionaries: surnames, names of the periods, styles, and other proper names.
Grammarly.com is an app that checks your texts for grammatical errors, typos, and orthographic mistakes. The explanation that the program provides is rather profound. Besides, it can improve the style of your work. I also like to check the speaking time of a monologue before the performance. However, the app has 2 versions: a free one and Grammarly Premium which costs $12-$30. Personally, a free version is sufficient even though some functions are not available.
